Architecture Papers of the Faculty of Architecture and Design STU is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal, which aims to contribute to the development and dissemination, transfer of knowledge in the fields of urban planning, architecture, engineering, product and visual design. The journal serves as a global intellectual platform for scientists, architects, engineers, designers and educators to share original, previously unpublished research results that connect theoretical research with practical applications.
The journal has been published quarterly by the Faculty of Architecture and Design of the Slovak University of Technology since 1996. In 2011, it underwent graphic and content changes. In 2019, it was transformed and began to be published in electronic form. Since 2020, the journal has been published exclusively in fully electronic form as an open access journal (freely available), in English. Since 2021, editorials and scientific articles of this journal have also been published on the Paradigm platform - former Sciendo (which provides DOI assignment and some indexing services) within two weeks of the date of publication on the journal's official website.
