Naše študentky a študenti venovali v zimnom semestri 2024-25 pozornosť dvom hlavným témam. Prvou bol udržateľný urbanizmus, ktorého kryštalizačným priestorovým jadrom bol "outlet duchov" Voderady, v kontexte ktorého si overovali princípy aplikácie konceptov 15-minútového, slnečneho, diverzifikovaného, inkluzívneho, “zeleného/modrého”, či odolného mesta. Druhou témou bola Extrémofilná architektúra / Klimatickí mutanti, pri ktorej po individuálnej voľbe extrémnej lokality študenti a študentky hľadali adekvátnu architektonickú odpoveď na danosti prostredia, snahu o prežitie, udržateľnosť vo všetkých jej podobách. Našli sa aj študentky, ktorí priniesli vlastné témy, ku ktorým sme sa spoločne snažili pristúpiť tak ako je nám vlastné - zaznievali filozoficko-konceptuálne úvahy, usilovali sme sa o vybočovanie z komfortných zón a hľadanie nových udržateľných architektonických a urbanistických konceptov. Our students focused on two main themes in the winter semester 2024-25. The first was sustainable urbanism, the crystallising spatial core of which was the 'ghost outlet' of Voderady, in the context of which they tested the principles of applying the concepts of the 15-minute, sunny, diversified, inclusive, 'green/blue' or resilient city. The second theme was Extremophilic Architecture / Climate Mutants, where, after individually choosing an extreme location, students searched for an adequate architectural response to the given environment, the quest for survival, sustainability in all its forms. There were also students who brought their own themes, which together we tried to approach in a way that is our own - philosophical-conceptual reflections were heard, we sought to break out of our comfort zones and search for new sustainable architectural and urban concepts. Rýchla móda (fast fashion), konzum, (ne)udržateľnosť, spoločnosť. Smutný osud nákupného outlet centra Voderady asi poznáš. To, čo nás však zaujíma je, či toto “nákupné - dnes už - centrum duchov” sa vie transformovať na kryštalizačné jadro novej udržateľnej výstavby priateľskej k prostrediu a najmä k jej obyvateľom. Aplikácia konceptov 15-minútového, slnečneho, diverzifikovaného, inkluzívneho, “zeleného/modrého”, či odolného mesta bude základom Tvojho urbanistického návrhu.
Téma je vhodná predovšetkým pre študentky a študentov 5. ročníka riešiacich urbanistický ateliér.
01_Ghost Outlet
... a.k.a. "Aspern" of Trnava
Fast fashion, consumerism, (in)sustainability, society. You probably know the sad fate of the Voderady outlet shopping center. What we are interested in, however, is whether this "shopping - nowadays - ghost center" can be transformed into a crystallizing nucleus of a new sustainable development friendly to the environment and especially to its inhabitants. The application of the concepts of 15-minute, sunny, diversified, inclusive, "green/blue" or resilient city will be the basis of your urban design.
The topic is suitable mainly for students of the 5th year of study focusing on town planning.
02_Extrémofilná architektúra / Klimatickí mutanti
Vybočovanie z komfortných zón a hľadanie nových udržateľných konceptov je nášmu ateliéru vlastné. Filozoficko-konceptuálne nastavená téma “extremofilná architektúra” ponúka priestor tvorivej fantázii a pokúsi sa nazrieť do blízkej budúcnosti. Extrémofil v našom kontexte nereaguje len na nepriaznivé klimatické podmienky (klimatickí mutanti), ale aj ako svoje zhmotnenie cez architektúru rozširuje svoje pôsobenie na prostredie sociálne, kultúrne, mimozemské či iné. Spoločným menovateľom je však snaha o prežitie, udržateľnosť vo všetkých jej podobách. Extrémy a lokalitu si v rámci Tejto tvorivej výzvy stanovíš sám/a! Tak čo? Look up? or Don’t Look Up!
Téma je vhodná pre študentov architektonického zamerania - 4. a 6. ročník - v procese tvorby podporujeme aj transparentné využívanie AI.
02_Extremophilic architecture / climatic mutants
Breaking out of comfort zones and looking for new sustainable concepts is inherent in our studio. The philosophically-conceptually set theme of "extremophilic architecture" offers space for creative imagination and attempts to look into the near future. In our context, the extremophile does not only react to adverse climatic conditions (climatic mutants), but also extends its influence to the social, cultural, extraterrestrial or other environments as its materialization through architecture. The common denominator, however, is the quest for survival, sustainability in all its forms. The extremes and the location in this creative challenge are up to you! So what now? Look up? or Don't Look Up!
The topic is suitable for architecture students - 4th and 6th year - we also encourage the transparent use of AI in the creative process.
03_Je to na Tebe!
Zastávame názor, že krása štúdia spočíva aj v tom, že poskytuje priestor pre individuálny rozvoj osobnosti a uspokojuje poznanie jednotlivca v špecifických oblastiach, ktoré ho oslovujú. Ak cítiš výzvu alebo nosíš v hlave nápad, ako prispieť svojou architektonickou tvorbou k lepšiemu životu, priestoru okolo seba, či prostrediu ako celku, naber odvahu a definuj si vlastné zadanie. Alebo príjmi externú výzvu a zapoj sa do akejkoľvek domácej alebo zahraničnej súťaže, ako napr. Inspireli alebo buildner.com a zmeraj si sily so svojimi kolegami. Výber je na Tebe, riešiť to budeme spoločne, radi poradíme a usmerníme. Sme kolektív, kde hranice zmýšľania radi posúvame a tešíme sa z toho. Posuň sa s nami limity “Out of the Box”.

We are of the opinion that the beauty of study also lies in the fact that it provides space for individual personality development and satisfies the individual's cognition in specific areas that appeal to him.
