Ateliér "Out of the Box" pod vedením pedagógov Jana Legényho a Petra Morgensteina, v spolupráci s profesorom Robertom Špačkom a doktorandmi Tomášom Hubinským a Filipom Krumpom, sa zameriava na oblasti ako udržateľnosť, optimálna organizácia systémov, energetická a potravinová sebestačnosť, adaptácia, diverzita, inklúzia, bezpečnosť, infraštruktúra (predovšetkým mestská), obnoviteľné zdroje energie, podmienky pre inovácie, udržateľný rozvoj a ďalšie.
The "Out of the Box" Design Studio, led by teachers Jano Legény and Peter Morgenstein, in collaboration with full professor Robert Špaček and PhD students Tomáš Hubinský and Filip Krump, focuses mainly on areas such as sustainability, optimal organization of systems, energy and food self-sufficiency, adaptation, diversity, inclusion, security, infrastructure (especially urban), renewable energy sources, conditions for innovation, sustainable development and many more.
V našom ateliéri chceme spolu s nadšenými študentkami a študentmi diskutovať o význame a pozícii architektúry v dnešnej spoločnosti. Budeme hľadať nové prístupy k tvorbe a nebudeme sa báť prekročiť hranice všedného, uplatniť inovatívne technológie či modely prispievajúce k zvyšovaniu udržateľnosti a odolnosti (rezilientnosti) architektúry a miest. Výučbu plánujeme doplniť exkurziami i medzinárodnými workshopmi a nadviazať aj na výskumné a edukačné projekty/aktivity pedagógov pôsobiacich v ateliéri "Out of the Box".
In our Design Studio, we want to discuss the meaning and position of architecture in today's society together with enthusiastic students. We will look for new approaches to creation/design and won't be afraid to go beyond the limits and boundaries of the ordinary, to apply innovative technologies or models contributing to increasing the sustainability and resilience of architecture and cities. We plan to complement the teaching with excursions and international workshops and to follow up on the research and educational projects/activities of the pedagogues teaching in the "Out of the Box" Design Studio.
