Le sujet du concours étudiant :
Les visions de la revitalisation des territoires ruraux
Les territoires en perte de vitalité constituent un problème pour toute l'Europe. Le développement durable est un sujet qui préoccupe le milieu des architectes depuis plus d'une décennie. Tous ces faits nous ont orientés vers ce qui est le thème du concours étudiant dans le cadre de la rencontre du 20e REA : «Les visions de la revitalisation des territoires ruraux». Concrètement, le choix de la petite ville de Modra près de Bratislava, nous permet de renouer avec le thème du développement durable des territoires.
Le but du concours :
Dans une petite ville, ressortir l'identité et l’animation d´une rue-allée, reliée à une place. La résolution et le ravivage d´une rue dans son ensemble, avec une architecture appropriée et un aménagement paysager des espaces publics. Le repère le plus significatif de la rue-allée est la présence de quatre églises, chapelles et éléments naturels.
À propos de la localité : Modra - Lipová aleja (l´allée des tilleuls)
Dans Le thème de «Lipová aleja» a le potentiel de «liberté» dans le contexte de la revitalisation du territoire, d´une rue et dans la conception de nouveaux éléments.
L´allée des tilleuls forme une surface qui débouche sur le centre de la ville par sa partie supérieure (au nord). Elle relie l´édifice baroque - de la chapelle «P. M. Snežná» (Ste. Marie des neiges) au cimetière, qui est à l'extrémité sud de la ville. Dans l'aire de l´allée se situent d´inestimables vieux tilleuls, une voie piétonne et un ruisseau couvert.
Au niveau du projet, l´allée peut-être conçue comme un ensemble, rattaché à la place ou centre-ville d'une part, ainsi que jonction entre la rue dont elle fait partie et la zone industrielle, située au-delà du cimetière. Ce fait déterminera la recherche de fonctions, telles, qu’elles raviveront l'espace, de même qu’elles influenceront la conception d´éléments et de petites formes architecturales.
Dans le projet il est possible d'accepter les faits et les liens suivants :

liaison de l´allée au centre - rue «Štúrova»,
-
la valeur des éléments naturels (ruisseau, tilleuls),
-
la valeur des édifices du patrimoine historique,
-
petites formes architecturales par ex. des pavillons de diverses expositions, utiles pour de multiples événements culturels,
-
liaison à la zone industrielle où «la majolique de Modra» est dominante,
-
exploiter le potentiel de l'étang.
Le rendu consistera en deux posters de format 700 x 1000 mm, à positionner dans le sens de la largeur. Il doit être remis à Bratislava lors de l´arrivée à FA STU, le lundi 2 mai 2016. Chaque panneau contiendra un niveau cohérent d’informations.
1ière planche - analytique :

diagnostic de la problématique des territoires ruraux,

présentation des conclusions de l’analyse du site et de l´environnement de l´allée,

schéma du concept proposé
2ième planche - de conception :
-
plan de masse,
-
vues-en-plan, coupes,
-
vues d´élévations (vues sur le paysage ou les opacités du bâti),
-
vues en perspectives, visualisations ou photomontages,
-
élaboration de détails d´éléments du « mobilier urbain » implantés dans le site - au choix de l´auteur.
Échelle :
-
documents d'urbanisme (sont recommandés 1: 1000, 1 :500),
-
plans d´architecture (1:200, 1:100, 1:50, 1:20).
L´échelle appropriée sera choisie par l'auteur afin d'assurer une bonne lisibilité du rendu.

Participants :
Le concours est ouvert aux étudiants en architecture, inscrits dans les écoles participantes au REA 20 à Bratislava. Les travaux doivent être élaborés par 1 ou 2 étudiants par projets. Les écoles participeront au concours international avec deux projets d’étudiant, choisis par les enseignants de l’école.
Anonymat :
Chaque planche sera signalée par un code à cinq caractères positionné en bas et à droite de chaque planche. Une enveloppe cachetée signée par le code ci-dessus accompagnera les affiches. Elle renfermera les noms des étudiants et de leurs universités.

Jury et prix :
Le jury sera formé des enseignants des écoles participant au REA 20 (un enseignant par école). Le concours international sera doté de trois prix, d’un montant global de 1000 euros, désignés par le jury.
Résultats :
Le concours des étudiants s´est déroulé du 30 novembre (depuis l´énoncé du concours) jusqu'au 5 mai, où progressivement ont été organisé au niveau de chaque école participante un concours national puis finalement un concours international. Dans le cadre du traitement du thème du concours, il était attendu des participants de mettre l´accent sur l´identité de la ville de Modra et ses lieux connus pour les vignobles, la céramique, le passé historique et les personnalités de renom. Un aspect intéressant était que le jury du concours international s´est tenu directement sur les lieux de la localité traitée. Au niveau de cette phase du concours ont été récupéré 16 projets de 11 écoles d'architecture de cinq pays. Pour le jury international, chaque école a eu droit à une seule voix à condition qu'elle ne soit pas attribuée aux projets des ses propres étudiants. Compte tenu de l'égalité des points, ont été attribuées deux premières et deux troisièmes places, la deuxième place ne l’a pas été.

Les étudiants des différentes écoles participantes et présents à la rencontre du REA ont eu, eux aussi, l´opportunité de choisir le lauréat de la catégorie : prix des étudiants. La majorité des voix a de nouveau été remportée par le projet des étudiant Mária Štrbíková et Ján Vaňura de la FA STU de Bratislava .
Les rendus du concours international ont été exposé dans la sublime salle d'apparat, dans l’édifice médiéval de l´ancien hôtel de ville de Modra.
