CEDA (Centre of Design for All) focuses on research and professional support for the creation and implementation of barrier-free environments in accordance with the principles of inclusion and non-discrimination. CEDA's goal is to explore and apply the principles of creating environments using the "Universal Design" method - "Designing for All". An environment designed in this way enables equal use by all people regardless of their physical, sensory and mental abilities and capabilities.
Mission of CEDA is creating a seamless built-environment that can be used by all people, regardless of their age, size or ability. CEDA is dedicated to the principle of universal design, enabling people in Slovakia to integrate in a society that takes in account a human difference and to interact with their environment to the best of their ability. Universal design refers to the design and composition of an environment so that it can be accessed, understood and used to the greatest extent possible by all people, regardless of their age, size or ability.
