Architecture 2020 is a specialized workplace that conducts research and professional training in the field of designing architecture that meets the criteria of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive 2010/31/EU (and the updated Act No. 555/2005 Coll. on the Energy Performance of Buildings) for new construction after 2020, with an emphasis on sustainability and environmental friendliness and with a focus on new methods and procedures in construction.
The partner associations Institute for Passive Houses (iEPD), Slovak Green Building Council (SKGBC) and ArTUR – Architecture for Sustainable Development, as well as other professional and expert organizations, also participate in the activities of A2k20.
