The mission of the Educational and Scientific Research Center for the Restoration of Architectural Heritage is to develop innovations and progressive forms of education and scientific research in the professional fields of the faculty. It also develops activities based on multidisciplinary cooperation of domestic and foreign schools and institutions in solving scientific and research tasks and specific regional problems. The Center also organizes events corresponding to the development of local tourism. In its activities, it uses the unique potential of the historical Banská Štiavnica - a site inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
