The Faculty of Architecture and Design focuses on architecture, urbanism and design in its research and education. Nine interconnected institutes ensure an interdisciplinary approach to targeted topics. In addition to traditional scientific, educational and artistic activities, it develops cooperation with partners from the public and private sectors in order to increase the quality of the study programmes offered and improve the skills and employability of graduates. FAD also intensively deepens international partnerships with more than four dozen universities across Europe. It has been involved in international scientific and research programmes for many years and is the solver of a number of domestic projects.
Foreign projects are mainly financed through the Interreg CE, Interreg DTP grant schemes, EEA and Norway Grants (EMIA Project), the Visegrad Fund and others.
