The Institute of Ecological and Experimental Architecture (IEEA) focuses on architectural design from the point of view of environmental and ecological principles and deals with the relationship between architecture and the environment. Using alternative construction technologies and materials is also related to its main objectives. These components are taught within individual subjects that deal with an architecture that respects the natural processes characteristic of its place. We apply the ecological concept design methodology in the field of space and technological architectural logic that is environmentally friendly. An introduction to general methodology is taught in the Bachelor’s study programme (module M6) followed by specialized EEVT-A6 courses of the Master’s degree in the form of lectures, seminars and studio work, as well as additional teaching of individual subjects, where the methodology is taught in more detail and in a wider scope. The theoretical knowledge is then applied in specialized studio works.
