EIT Manufacturing Association: FAD STU participates in the implementation of innovative technologies within prestigious projects. We have a fully equipped University Science Park – a technology-based place supporting the creation of prototypes. Here experienced doctoral students can help with 3D printing, laser cutting and with your work in the colour laboratory. Some of the projects create outputs in augmented (AR) and virtual reality (VR).)
Cooperation with companies: There is ample opportunity to apply your talent, knowledge and skills in our studios. Some of these studios even have cooperative programmes with some well-known car manufacturers in Slovakia and abroad, interactions with various architectural studios, important NGOs, and offers other opportunities within the creative industry.
Banská Štiavnica: FAD STU also has a satellite school and workplace in the UNESCO city of Banská Štiavnica. Here our students attend workshops, draw in the open-air, and collaborate on designs for the restoration of historic buildings in this picturesque town. The faculty and several institutes and educational centers that specialize in pedagogical, studio and scientific activities.
