Learning and Teaching Training took place as another of the events of the CT:uni: Creative project Thinking – Taking an Innovative and STEAM Approach for a Transdisciplinary University (ERASMUS+, KA2 – Cooperative partnerships).
The workshop took place on April 16 – 19, 2023, at Instituto Politécnico da Guarda in Portugal. The aim of the workshop was an interdisciplinary exploring, sharing, testing and finding new ways of creative thinking. Workshop was attended by 27 representatives of eight universities with the research consortium (Instituto Politécnico da Guarda, Portugal; Uniwersytet Marie Curie-Skłodowskiej w Lublinie, Poland; Háskólinn á Bifröst University, Iceland; Technische Universität Dresden, Germany; University of Economics in Bratislava, Slovakia; Slovak Technical University in Bratislava, Slovakia; Universiteit van Amsterdam, Netherlands; Sapienza Università di Roma, Italy).
STU was represented by PhD students Monika Hencová, Karolína Bujdáková and Veronika Blahunková. Presented materials and lectures showed how to lead students of science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics (STEAM) and together guide research and foster dialogue for the greater innovations. Various warm-up activities, publications, case studies, methods and work with specific students on the projects were tested and presented. Based on these activities, new teaching and learning materials were created. They will be explored during the upcoming cooperation consequences of creative thinking in higher education.
