The Faculty of Architecture and Design, Student Platform, Čerstvé ovocie (Fresh Fruit) and Archtung invite you to the continuation of an evening that is close to all of us. Night of Architecture and Design is a multi-genre platform providing insight into the center of events at the faculty. It represents an evening event, when the entire faculty building will be transformed into a landscape full of exhibited studio works of students, with the main goal – to show the professional and general public the results of the creation of a wide range of projects created on the faculty’s grounds.
The discussion ■pajc × ●pechtle mechtle with graphic design with guests Ľubica Segečová and Martin Jančok will open the topic of connecting graphic design with architecture. High-quality visual communication plays an important role in the presentation of the work – come and learn more at the Kotolna premises.
SINGULARCH in the REFERENCES format will be presented by the renowned studio gutgut. The heads of the studio, Lukáš Kordík and Štefan Polakovič, will talk about the starting points and inspirations that influence the process of their creation.
SINGULARCH will continue with a main lecture with guests from the collective X = ( T = E = N ). Tijana Mačkić (Belgrade, RS) and Scott Lloyd (Zürich, CH) will present the focus of their work, which is placed on the creation of new realities and values through buildings, urban designs, algorithmic design, material research and prototypes, together with various collaborators, institutional partners and private clients.
The lecture will be held in English.
