Photo © Matej Kováč Academic Library of Faculty of Architecture and Design offers scientific and professional literature (books, study books, journals, disertation and habilitation theses etc.) according to the study programmes of the faculty (architecture, urbanism, design and related studies). Library FAD is a scientific, information, bibliographic, coordination and consultation support centre of the faculty. It provides knowledge based and information services for the pedagogical and research processes of the faculty. Library FAD creates bibliographic registry of publication and artistic activity of the employees and full time students of doctoral studies at FAD.
Library FAD provides the users with many advantages - free access to all the library funds (including access to the international on-line full text databases and electronical versions of journals and books), access to the latest literature. You can also use self-service copy machine (1 copy = 5 cents) and scanners (scanning is for free).
February 14th - International Book Giving Day - publications for taking from the study room of Library FAD
Because of the International Book Giving Day we offer you to take publications from the study room, that are not used by the library anymore, or were given to the library in multiple copies. You can take the books from the tables in the study room of the library from February 14th until February 20th 2025. Later you will find the books in the shelves in the study room. We hope everyone leaves with a book and we wish you spent quality reading time.
